Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
The Centre recognises that learners may have previously acquired relevant knowledge, skills, and competencies through formal education, professional training, work experience, or other learning experiences.
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) enables learners to receive recognition for prior achievement where it can be demonstrated that the learning outcomes and assessment criteria of a unit have already been met.
RPL Application Policy
Applications for RPL will be considered in accordance with:
- Pearson Recognition of Prior Learning Policy.
- Centre Assessment and Quality Assurance Procedures.
- Evidence requirements specified by Pearson.
All RPL decisions are subject to review and approval by the relevant academic and quality assurance personnel.
